Japanese students led by H.E Amb.Takayuki Miyashita paid a courtesy call to Hon.Minister of Education


Kigali, Thursday, 9th  August 2018 : A delegation of Japanese students from Ikubunkan Global High School, led by the Ambassador of Japan to Rwanda H.E Takayuki Miyashita paid a courtesy call to Hon.Minister of Education Dr.Eugene Mutimura .The students  have  been in Rwanda  for 2 weeks on a study tour. In his welcoming remarks, Dr. Eugene Mutimura said : "Awarm welcome to you. It goes without saying that thanks to a strong political relationship existing between Rwanda and Japan , this study tour was made possible. "  He added :" We believe that the experience gained by these students during their stay in our country will transform them into ambassadors of Rwanda to their school." H.E Ambassador Takayuki Miyashita  thanked the government of Rwanda through the Ministry of Education for all the facilitation provided to Ikubunkan Global High School students during their visit. In their presentation ,the Japanese Students pledged a strong partnership between Ikubunkan Global High School and Gahima Agape Secondary School. The latter is located in  Ngoma District, Eastern Province, and it hosted these students from their arrival on 29th July 2018.
